Why is writing better than reading?
After knowing why should we start writing ( If you don’t read yet my article before, you could read it by clicking here.), we have to know why is writing better than reading, cause lot of people like reading now but they didnt’t like writing yet. I thought, it was not enough if we just read, what is the reason? Wanna know it?
Let’s get started.
# 1 Writing increases creativity
The good writing depends on author’s creativity. And a creativity level would increase as long as you practice the writing. If you write often you would learn often, cause it was impossible you start writing without knowing what you write. And You have to learn it firtsly before you write it.
#2 Writer must be a reader, but not the other way around
Like I mentioned it before that a writer has to write that was learned. He could learn it by sharing, travelling or reading (I think, reading is most done). Cause the easy way to get information is by reading. We could read some news, or articles or some books for getting the references for our writing.
#3 Writing teachs us how to think critically
Jordan Peterson explained in one of his video why did we have to write. He mention that the best way to learn critical thinking is teaching people to write, and we could start it from ourselves by pushing ourselves to start writing. After writing was being a habbit, we would love to learn anythings. And our mind would be busy with many of knowledge, and it would force our mind to think more.
#4 Writing makes you more healthy
I have a story, there was a woman, she has concussion. From day to day. Her condition was getting worse, till she was dropped out from university. She had a hobby, that was writing. She started writing since being a student. And after dropping out from university, she was focused on writing until she published some books. And her illness was gone. During writing, we have to focus and calm ourselves, and indirectly it had impact on our hormon and our body. When, we focus and calm, our body produce some positive hormone and positive cell that makes us better. And some theraphist use this method for practicing their therapy.
#5 Writing is more productive
As I mentioned on article before, We could make money by writing. So, if you love reading, you may to begin writing. Someday,you would feel the impact of writing, actually for your life and your producvity.
